R2 Studios Architecture is a woman and family-owned architecture firm founded at the intersection of design and healthcare expertise. Licensed in Minnesota, Georgia, and New Jersey, we specialize in the design and delivery of plans for Residential Assisted Living Facilities (RALF’s) and other small healthcare settings.

Founded in 2020, the firm set out to simplify the design and licensing process for healthcare facilities. When the Minnesota Department of Health and Department of Labor and Industry introduced new guidelines in August of 2023, R2 Studios began focusing almost exclusively on RALF projects. Since then, our team has completed more than 175 successful facilities within Minnesota.

Anna, a licensed architect, brings a deep understanding of how the built environment shapes the quality and safety of care. Zach, who studied pre-medicine in college and joined the firm full time in 2022, adds an analytical perspective and a strong grasp of healthcare systems. Together, and with families rooted in medical and nursing backgrounds, we approach every project with precision, empathy, and respect for the people who provide care.

By combining technical expertise, regulatory insight, and clear communication, we create spaces that support comfort, safety, and dignity for residents while helping our clients achieve timely licensing approval with fewer surprises.
